San Francisco Cuts Public Transportation Service
The SFMTA has significantly decreased public transportation service in San Francisco due to COVID-19. Right now, all Muni Metro service has been suspended and 80% of the city’s Muni Bus routes have been suspended.
Muni Metro and some bus routes are scheduled to return in limited operations on August 22, 2020. We will update our San Franciso pages with more info. Until then, we’ve changed the system map to reflect the “COVID-19 Muni Core Service” and updated our Muni Metro and Muni Bus pages.
There are multiple ways you can purchase entrance onto MUNI and BART.
