How to Start Your Trip
Unlike Citi Bikes, JUMP Bikes do not need to start and stop trips at a docking station. Each bicycle comes with a U-lock of its own and can be locked to any existing bike stand or pole. JUMP Bikes is owned by Uber, so you can unlock your bike and start your trip from within the Uber app. If you have an existing JUMP Bikes account, you can start your ride by entering in your phone number on the number pad on the back wheel of the bike.
How to End Your Trip
To end your trip, find a regular spot to lock your bike up to a post or bike stand and use the U-lock on the rear wheel. The LCD screen on the back of the bicycle will show you your duration and cost of your trip.
