How to Board & Exit the DLR
There are no gates at a DLR station, so you must tap your Oyster Card or other payment card on the yellow tap area before boarding a train. There are buttons on every door that will open the doors for you, but the doors will most likely open automatically for you at each station. If they do not, just press the button on your door.
Transfer Rules
If you are transferring from the DLR to the Tube or vice versa, make sure you tap on and tap off when transferring for your trip to be considered a single journey.
