Sakura Tram
The Sakura Tram is the oldest method of public transportation still available in Tokyo. With certain lines dating back to 1913, the Sakura Tram operates in northern Tokyo across a 12.2 km track.

How to Board & Exit The Tram
Riders must board the tram at the front door near the driver. You can pay your fare using IC card or cash (exact change only ¥170). When your stop is next, request a stop by pressing the red stop button. Exit the tram at the rear doors.
Transfer Rules
The Sakura Tram has stops that are shared with a few Tokyo Metro, Toei and Train stations. You can transfer to and from those stations depending on where your final destination is.
