Bike sharing is available on both the Asian and European sides of Istanbul using the isbike service. İSBIKE is like many other bike sharing services around the world, all you need is a credit card to rent a bike by the hour. İSBIKE offers over 1120 bicycles across 102 docking stations on the European side of the city and 380 bikes in 38 stations on the Asian side.

Pricing

İSBIKE offers two sets of prices, one standard price structure and one for those who enroll in their annual membership program. It costs ₺59.00 for the annual subscription, but you get discounted rental rates for the year. Here are the prices:

Standard Fares

₺3.00 for your first hour
₺5.00 for 1-2 hours
₺7.00 for 2-3 hours
₺4.00 for each additional hour over 3 hours.

Membership Fares

₺2.50 for your first hour
₺4.00 for 1-2 hours
₺6.00 for 2-3 hours
₺4.00 for each additional hour over 3 hours.

How to Rent an İSBIKE

To rent a bicycle, download the İSBIKE app for your phone, or visit one of the kiosks next to a docking station. Enter in your credit card information and the kiosk or app will give you a pin code. Take that pin code over to the bicycle you'd like to ride and enter it into the numberpad to the left of your bike in the docking system. Your bike will unlock and you can now ride around the city.

How to Return an isbike

To return a bicycle, all you need to do is find an open space at a docking station and push the front of your bike back into the dock. You will see a message on the screen above the pin pad indicating that you have ended your trip.
