How to Start Your Trip
The best way to use YouBike is as a member. Signing up for membership is free and will allow you to use EasyCard to pay for your YouBike trips. You can become a member on the YouBike website, mobile app, or at a YouBike kiosk next to a docking station. To start your trip, first check the bicycle you wish to take to make sure the tire pressure is good and the brakes work. Tap your EasyCard on the dock to begin your trip. When the docking station light blinks green, your bike has been unlocked and you may remove it and begin riding.
How to End Your Trip
To end your trip, find a YouBike dock location with an empty spot for your bicycle. Push and hold the front wheel into the open base station until the bike locks. There are white lines on the ground to help you line up the bike to the lock. Once the dock beeps, a blue light will blink, and your bike is locked, your trip is complete. Then tap your card on the dock to end your trip.
