Pricing
Regular taxi fares in Singapore have a base fare between $3.00 and $3.40 for your first kilometer of your trip. Your fare increases $0.22 for every 400m travelled.
Extra Fees & Charges:
10% Fee - If you pay via credit card.
25% Fee - Peak Hour Surcharge (6:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. - Midnight)
50% Fee - Peak Hour Surcharge (Midnight - 6:00 a.m.)
$3.00 - Pickups in the Central Business District after 5:00 p.m.
$3.00 - Pickups in Specific Areas (Gardens by the Bay, Resort World Sentosa, Marina Bay Sands on Sundays)
$3.00 to $5.00 - Pickups at Changi Airport

How to Request a Ride
The easiest way to request a taxi in Singapore is by using the GrabTaxi app. You enter in your pickup and drop-off location just like any ride sharing app and choose your vehicle type.
Getting a taxi in Singapore without an app can be a little tricky because of local laws that restrict taxis idling in certain areas of the city. If you are in the Central Business District, you must get a taxi at a taxi stand.
