How to Board & Exit The Bus

When waiting at a bus stop, you may have to waive down the driver to get them to stop to pick you up. You board the bus at the front doors near the driver. This is where you pay your fare using cash or EZ-Link card. Bus drivers do not give change, so if you are paying cash, make sure you have exact fare. When it comes time for your stop, press a red request stop button and exit at the rear doors. If you paid via EZ-Link, you will have to tap your card when exiting on the card reader at the rear doors.

Transfer Rules

You can transfer from bus to MRT as long as it is within a 45 minute window. There are no additional charges for transferring between bus routes. When using an EZ-Link card, transfers from local buses to MRT will result in a reduced fare.
