Download the app for your smart phone using the links above.
Launch the app and tap the “Sign Up” button
On the Registration page, the information must be entered in a specific format.
1. Name. First and Last name with a space in between. (Example: Cameron Tunnel)
2. Email. Email address with @ and .com or other TLD. (Example: example@tunneltime.io)
3. Mobile Phone. Only the numbers of your smartphone including country code and area code. Do not use any symbols like + - _ ( ) or space. Example for a number from Toronto (416), Canada (+1). Example: 14165551234
4. Home County. Select your country from the list.
5. Vat. If you have a Vat exempt number, you can enter it here, otherwise just enter in 9 random digits. Do not use 000000000 as the registration form checks your sign up to make sure there are not more than one user using the same VAT number.
6. Password. Create a password using uppercase, lowercase, numbers and/or symbols.
Once you accept the Terms & Conditions and sign up, you will be sent a confirmation code via SMS. Enter that code into the app now to verify your number.
You will then see some onboarding screens showing you how to use the app.
Select subscription options and choose your pass.

How to Start Your Trip

To rent a bicycle, go to a docking station and select a bicycle in the Gira smartphone app. Once you pay in the app, follow the on screen instructions to unlock your bicycle.

How to End Your Trip

To end your trip, find a Gira Bicycles docking station location with an empty spot for your bicycle. Push and hold the front wheel into the open base station until the light turns green and the bike locks. Once the light has turned green, and your bike is locked, your trip is complete.
