Tickets

Update: September 6th, 2020

Navigo

Navigo is the Paris reloadable transit card. Navigo cards are designed for annual, monthly or weekly unlimited travel. The card costs €5 and can be reloaded with the duration of your choice. Navigo has two card types, standard and Découverte. Standard Navigo cards for Parisian residents while Découverte can be purchased by anyone. Navigo cards can be purchased at ticket kiosks with cash or at booths with a credit card. Double check the hours of the ticket booth for your trip to make sure they are open when you need to purchase your card. You will also need to bring a photo to attach to your Navigo card and a pen to sign your name. Many of the popular stations have little photo kiosks nearby, but if in doubt, you can bring your own photo (shot like a passport photo but 3cm tall, 2.5 cm wide).
